PT. Greatways Engineeering Service was established since 2011 as NDT Company in Batam which currently has 20 employees.

PT. Greatways Engineering Service is an independent inspection services supplier to marine, offshore, boilers, oil and gas industries specialize in ultrasonic thickness measurement, Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), risk based inspection, asset integrity management, heat treatment, manpower services, and afloat repairs with rope access technique on board offshore, anchorage, voyage or docking.

RADIOGRAPHY TESTING

Radiography Testing (RT) is one of the non-destructive testing (NDT) methods that examines for volumetric discontinuity in materials and component uses gamma ray ionizing radiation sources to produce a radiograph of the material specimen. Changes in thickness of flaws are captured in a radiographic film for interpretation and evaluation.

ULTRASONIC TESTING

Ultrasonic Testing (UT) is one of the non-destructive testing (NDT) methods that use beam of mechanical waves (vibration) of short wave length and transmitted from small probe in contact with specimen surface and detect by the same or other probe.

POSITIVE MATERIAL IDENTIFICATION

Positive Material Identification (PMI) is a method used to analyze the chemical composition of a material which aims to determine the type of material seen from the chemical composition by reading the percentage of elements in the material

HARDNESS TESTING

Hardness Testing is a test carried out to determine the hardness of materials such as Carbon Steel Pipe Coils and Plates using Digital Hardness Tester equipment.

ULTRASONIC THICKNESS MEASUREMENT

Ultrasonic Thickness Measurement is a non-destructive test used to inspect the thickness of the material. This thickness measurement is important in various industries to monitor corrosion, erosion and damage to the material.

LIQUID PENETRANT TESTING

Liquid Penetrant Testing (LPT) is a a low-cost method of detecting flaws, such a crack, porosity, seams, cold raps, lamination, fracture, and other flaws that are open to the surface.

PHASED ARRAY ULTRASONIC TESTING

Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) is an advanced Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) technique that uses a series of ultrasonic test probes (UT) consisting of a number of small elements, each of which is individually pulsed with a computer-calculated time (“phasing”).

MAGNETIC PARTICLE TESTING

Magnetic Particle Testing (MPT) is a non-destructive testing (NDT) method that can be used to detect surface and in the area slightly below the surface (sub-surface) flaws in ferromagnetic materials by using a combination of yoke magnetic field and iron particle to detect flaws in a component.

VISUAL BORESCOPE

A borescope is an optical instrument used in industry to examine the internal structure of a part or machine. Borescopes are designed to improve visibility in areas that cannot be accessed by other means, such as in narrow or confined areas without damaging the area.
