Radiography Testing (RT) is one of the non-destructive testing (NDT) methods that examines for volumetric discontinuity in materials and component uses gamma ray ionizing radiation sources to produce a radiograph of the material specimen. Changes in thickness of flaws are captured in a radiographic film for interpretation and evaluation. The majority of radiography concern the testing, location and quantifying defects if welds on piping, structures, pressure vessels, pipelines, storage tank and other component weldments. It can also use for testing machined parts, plate metal, or pipe walls to locate anomalies such a corrosion or mechanical damage.

PT. Greatways Engineering Service has a Permit to Use ionizing radiation sources for non-destructive testing activities issued by the Minister of Nuclear Energy Supervisory Agency and has personnel who have been certified by the National Nuclear Energy Agency (BATAN) and have a Work Permit from the Nuclear Energy Supervisory Agency (BAPETEN).
