A borescope is an optical instrument used in industry to examine the internal structure of a part or machine. Borescopes are designed to improve visibility in areas that cannot be accessed by other means, such as in narrow or confined areas without damaging the area.

The visualization from the borescope camera will then be sent to the eyepiece or to a digital display (internal LCD or computer/device) at one end.
